Constraint Databases Technology for Polynomial Models Diagnosis

چکیده
Model-based Diagnosis allows the identification of the parts which fail in a system. The models are based on the knowledge of the system to diagnose, and they can be represented by constraints associated to the components. The variables including in these constraints can be observable or non-observable, depending on the situation of sensors. In order to obtain the minimal diagnosis in a system, an important issue is related to find out the minimal possible conflicts in an efficient way. We consider that Constraint Databases represent an excellent approach in order to solve this problem in complex systems, where a tuple in a relational database could be replaced by a conjunction of constraints. In this work we have used a novel logical architecture of Constraint Databases which has allowed us to obtain these possible minimal conflicts by means of a standard query language though the information is stored in a conventional relational database. Moreover, we have considered Gröbner bases as a projection operator to obtain the minimal possible conflicts of a system.

متن کاملLocal Polynomial Regression Models for Vehicle Speed Estimation and Forecasting in Linear Constraint Databases
Constraint databases have the specific advantage of being able to represent infinite temporal relations by linear equations, linear inequalities, polynomial equations, and so on. This advantage can store a continuous time-line that naturally connects with other traffic attributes, such as vehicle speed. In most cases, vehicle speed varies over time, that is, the speed is often non-linear. Howev...
متن کاملPolynomial Spatial Constraint Databases
MAIN TEXT More specifically, in a polynomial spatial constraint database, a relation is defined as a boolean combination (union, intersection, complement) of subsets of some real space R (in applications, typically n = 2 or 3) that are definable by polynomial constraints of the form p(x1, ..., xn) ≥ 0, where p is a polynomial in the real variables x1, ..., xn with integer coefficients. For exam...
متن کاملNumerical solution for the risk of transmission of some novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) models by the Newton-Taylor polynomial solutions
In this paper we consider two type of mathematical models for the novel coronavirus (2019-nCov), which are in the form of a nonlinear differential equations system. In the first model the contact rate, , and transition rate of symptomatic infected indeviduals to the quarantined infected class, , are constant. And in the second model these quantities are time dependent. These models are the...
متن کاملThe Capacitated Location-Allocation Problem with Interval Parameters
In this paper, we develop a capacitated location-covering model considering interval values for demand and service parameters. We also consider flexibility on distance standard for covering demand nodes by the servers. We use the satisfaction degree to represent the constraint of service capacity. The proposed model belongs to the class of mixed integer programming models. Our model can be redu...
