On Certain Inequalities for Hyperbolic and Trigonometric Functions

Starting from certain inequalities for hyperbolic and trigonometric functions, we obtain some general inequalities for functions and their inverses. As applications, refinements and new inequalities for hyperbolic and trigonometric functions are pointed out.

Inequalities Involving Hyperbolic Functions and Trigonometric Functions

Inequalities involving hyperbolic functions and trigonometric functions are established. Most of the established inequalities can be regarded as the companion inequalities to those obtained by Lazarević, Adamović and Mitrinović and Cusa and Huygens The established results are obtained with the aid of the Schwab-Borchardt mean.

Inequalities involving generalized trigonometric and hyperbolic functions

The Huygens-Wilker type inequalities involving generalized trigonometric functions and generalized hyperbolic functions are established. The first and the second inequalities of Huygens and Wilker, for classes of functions under discussion, are also investigated.

Sharp Jackson-type Inequalities for Approximations of Classes of Convolutions by Entire Functions of Exponential Type

In this paper, a new method is introduced for the proof of sharp Jacksontype inequalities for approximation of convolution classes of functions defined on the real line. These classes are approximated by linear operators with values in sets of entire functions of exponential type. In particular, a sharp Jackson-type inequality for the even-order derivatives of the conjugate function is proved. ...
