Dynamic Visual Emphasis in Interactive Technical Documentation

Emphasis is an important vehicle to communicate relevance and to guide user focus, especially in interactive computer graphics. In dynamic 3D systems in particular, emphasis techniques must also consider visibility issues. This work discusses possible solutions and describes an implementation.
