چکیده

We discuss interpretation of the cosmic infrared background (CIB) anisotropies detected by us recently in the Spitzer IRAC based measurements. The fluctuations are approximately isotropic on the sky consistent with their cosmological origin. They remain after removal of fairly faint intervening sources and must arise from a population which has a strong CIB clustering component with only a small shot-noise level. We discuss the constraints the data place on the luminosities, epochs and mass-to-light ratios of the indvidual sources producing them. Assuming the concordance ΛCDM cosmology the measurements imply that the luminous sources producing them lie at cosmic times < 1 Gyr and were individually much brighter per unit mass than the present stellar populations. Time Delays in Cosmic Ray Propagation

Cosmic Rays (CR) travel at speeds essentially indistinguishable from the speed of light. However whilst travelling through magnetic fields, both regular and turbulent, they are delayed behind the light since they are usually charged particles and their paths are not linear. Those delays can be so long that they are an impediment to correctly identifying sources which may be variable in time. Fu...

Evaluation of High Level Environmental Background Radiation Areas and its Variation in Ramsar

Introduction The exposure of human beings to ionizing radiation from natural sources is a continuing and inescapable feature of life on earth. For most individuals, this exposure exceeds that from all man-made sources combined. Materials and Methods In this study, the annual effective dose in high level environmental background radiation areas (HLEBRAs) of northern city of Ramsar in Iran was de...

Background radiation, people and the environment

All living organisms are exposed to ionizing radiation comprising cosmic rays coming from outer space, terrestrial nuclides occurring in the earth’s crust, building materials, air, water and foods and in the human body itself. The exposures are constant and uniform for all individuals everywhere including the dose from ingestion of 40K in food. Cosmic rays are, more intense at higher alt...

Dusty Infrared Galaxies: Sources of the Cosmic Infrared Background

The discovery of the Cosmic Infrared Background (CIB) in 1996, together with recent cosmological surveys from the mid-infrared to the millimeter have revolutionized our view of star formation at high redshifts. It has become clear, in the last decade, that a population of galaxies that radiate most of their power in the far-infrared (the so-called “infrared galaxies”) contributes an important p...

Detailed analysis of observed antiprotons in cosmic rays

In the present work, the origin of antiprotons observed in cosmic rays (above the atmosphere) is analyzed in details. We have considered the origin of the primaries, (which their interactions with the interstellar medium is one of the most important sources of antiprotons) is a supernova type II then used a diffusion model for their propagation. We have used the latest parameterization for anti...
