The packet scheduling scheme also scale the energy consumption and end-to-end information transmission delay in time period and non-real-time information packets during wireless transmission. The proposed Priority based Packet Scheduling (PPS) technique has a tendency to overcome the issues based on priority queues in a wireless network. The priority queue has three levels at each node, except those at the last virtual hierarchy level in the zonebased topology of wireless network. In the meantime packet square are measured and placed in the highest-priority queue and might preempt information packets in alternative queues. In the non-real-time period packet square are measured and placed into two alternative queues supported at a particular threshold of their calculable interval. The time period and non-real time information has two queues in a leaf node, since they did not receive information from alternative nodes which causes scale back end-to-end delay. The proposed PPS technique has affinity to evaluate performance through simulations for the time period and non-real-time information. Simulation results illustrate that the PPS Scheme outperforms typical schemes in terms of average information waiting time and end-to-end delay.

A JOINT DUTY CYCLE SCHEDULING AND ENERGY AWARE ROUTING APPROACH BASED ON EVOLUTIONARY GAME FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS
Network throughput and energy conservation are two conflicting important performance metrics for wireless sensor networks. Since these two objectives are in conflict with each other, it is difficult to achieve them simultaneously. In this paper, a joint duty cycle scheduling and energy aware routing approach is proposed based on evolutionary game theory which is called DREG. Making a trade-off ...
متن کاملPriority based Packet Scheduling Approach for Wireless Sensor Networks
A priority based packet scheduling scheme is proposed which aims at scheduling different types of data packets, such as real time and non-real-time data packets at sensor nodes with resource constraints in Wireless Sensor Networks. Most of the existing packet-scheduling mechanisms of Wireless Sensor Networks use First Come First Served (FCFS), non-preemptive priority and preemptive priority sch...
متن کاملA Fuzzy Based Approach for Rate Control in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks
Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs) undergo congestion when a link (or a node) becomes overpopulated in terms of incoming packets. In WMSNs this happens especially in upstream nodes where all incoming packets meet and directed to the sink node. Congestion in networks, if not handled properly, might lead to congestion collapse which deteriorates the quality of service (QoS). Therefore, i...
متن کاملEnergy and Priority Aware Scheduling Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are playing a vital role in automation, sensing and commercial applications. Key issues in WSNs are to satisfy Quality of service (QoS) parameters and to conserve energy. Some of the sensor nodes in WSN act as a single communication link to connect one group of sensor nodes to other in multi-hop environment. If nodes acting as a single communication link become d...

A network consisting of distributed autonomous sensors to cooperatively monitor physical or environmental conditions such as s o u n d , temperature, p r e s s u r e , pollutants and etc. is called as a wireless sensor network (WSN). The origin of wireless sensor networks was motivated by defense applications i.e. battlefield surveillance. However, WSNs are now used in many commercial and civil...
