Distance formulas capable of unifying Euclidian space and probability space

چکیده
For pattern recognition like image recognition, it has become clear that each machine-learning dictionary data actually became data in probability space belonging to Euclidean space. However, the distances in the Euclidean space and the distances in the probability space are separated and ununified when machine learning is introduced in the pattern recognition. There is still a problem that it is impossible to directly calculate an accurate matching relation between the sampling data of the read image and the learned dictionary data. In this research, we focused on the reason why the distance is changed and the extent of change when passing through the probability space from the original Euclidean distance among data belonging to multiple probability spaces containing Euclidean space. By finding the reason of the cause of the distance error and finding the formula expressing the error quantitatively, a possible distance formula to unify Euclidean space and probability space is found. Based on the results of this research, the relationship between machine-learning dictionary data and sampling data was clearly understood for pattern recognition. As a result, the calculation of collation among data and machine-learning to compete mutually between data are cleared, and complicated calculations became unnecessary. Finally, using actual pattern recognition data, experimental demonstration of a possible distance formula to unify Euclidean space and probability space discovered by this research was carried out, and the effectiveness of the result was confirmed.

Comparison Of Traditional Method of HSV Histogram Equalisation with Adaptive HSVsegmentation and Kekre Transform for Content Based Image Retrieval
Content-based image retrieval system based on an efficient combination of both colors and features is explained in this paper. According to Kekre’s Transform, feature vectors are formed using a combination of row mean and column mean of both query as well as database images, to measure the extent of similarity using Euclidian distance. Similarly, HSV color space quantifies the color space into ...
متن کاملClassification using non-standard metrics
A large variety of supervised or unsupervised learning algorithms is based on a metric or similarity measure of the patterns in input space. Often, the standard euclidean metric is not sufficient and much more efficient and powerful approximators can be constructed based on more complex similarity calculations such as kernels or learning metrics. This procedure is benefitial for data in euclide...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis of Device to Device Communications Overlaying/Underlaying Cellular Network
Minimizing the outage probability and maximizing throughput are two important aspects in device to device (D2D) communications, which are greatly related to each other. In this paper, first, the exact formulas of the outage probability for D2D communications underlaying or overlaying cellular network are derived which jointly experience Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and Rayleigh multipat...
متن کاملDynamical distance as a semi-metric on nuclear conguration space
In this paper, we introduce the concept of dynamical distance on a nuclear conguration space. We partition the nuclear conguration space into disjoint classes. This classification coincides with the classical partitioning of molecular systems via the concept of conjugacy of dynamical systems. It gives a quantitative criterion to distinguish dierent molecular structures.
متن کاملCompounding Probabilistic Evidence for Hyperbolic Rogue Location Estimation
Hyperbolic position bounding of malicious devices aims to estimate the location of a wireless network rogue insider that transmits an attack message containing falsified information to mislead honest nodes. A probabilistic path loss model is used to construct an area in Euclidian space bounded by minimum and maximum distance difference hyperbolas between each pair of trusted receivers. This hyp...
