Molecular Genetic Map Construction and Qtl Analysis for Fruit Maturation Period in Litchi
نویسندگان
چکیده
A hybrid F1 population of ‘Maguili × Jiaohesanyuehong’ was created by crossing between the very late ripening cultivar ‘Maguili’ as the maternal parent and the very early ripening cultivar ‘Jiaohesanyuehong’ as the paternal parent. Seventy-six randomly chosen F1 individuals were used as the mapping population. SRAP and AFLP molecular marker analysis were carried out with the mapping population and the two parents. Molecular genetic maps for both parents were built. The ‘Maguili’ map contained 179 loci which fell into 16 linkage groups. The coverage of the map was 610.55cM with an average distance of 3.75cM between markers. The ‘Jiaohesanyuehong’ map consisted of 82 loci allocated into 15 linkage groups. The map covered 548.09cM and had a mean distance of 8.18cM between markers. IM method was used to determine QTLs for the fruit maturation period. Five QTLs for fruit maturation period were detected. Two QTLs were on LG ‘JHSYH2’and ‘JHSYH4’ of the paternal map and explained a contribution rate of 34.4% and 70.1% respectively. Three QTLs were on LG ‘MGL2’ and ‘MGL5’, and the contribution rate they can explain was between 38.3% and 65.8%.

Genetic Mapping of Blooming Time in ‘Marcona’ × ‘Fragness’ Population with Using Molecular Markers
Flowering time is an important horticultural trait in almond since it is essential to avoid the late frosts that affect production in early flowering cultivars. Evaluation of this complex trait is a long process because of the prolonged juvenile period of trees and the influence of environmental conditions affecting gene expression year by year. In this research flowering time was studied in an...
متن کاملIdentification of QTLs for grain yield and some agro-morphological traits in sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) using SSR and SNP markers
Many agriculturally important traits are complex, affected by many genes and the environment. Quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping is a key tool for studying the genetic structure of complex traits in plants. In the present study QTLs associated with yield and agronomical traits such as leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, plant height, stem and head diameter were identified by using 70 recom...
متن کاملIdentifying Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) Cultivars and Their Genetic Relationships Using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) Markers
Litchi is an important fruit tree in tropical and subtropical areas of the world. However, there is widespread confusion regarding litchi cultivar nomenclature and detailed information of genetic relationships among litchi germplasm is unclear. In the present study, the potential of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) for the identification of 96 representative litchi accessions and their gene...
