Modeling the Broker Behavior Using a BDI Agent

چکیده
The static properties of BDI systems can be considered extensions of CTL logics. This type of logic will be model the mental state of agent. The logic is extended by defining additional connectors and operators. We present in this paper the mental BDI agents whose behavior is conduct by beliefs, desires, intentions, and decisions. The case study addresses the scenario of a broker whose operation is given by market conditions and demand, offer, price and number of operations it holds. Key-Words: CTL, specification, BDI, agents, model checker, broker behavior

Towards a Formal Modeling of Affective Agents in a BDI Architecture
When designing agents to simulate human behavior, the incorporation of personality, emotions and mood into the agent reasoning process provides the agent with a closer to human behavior. We have designed an Open Affective Agent Architecture (O3A) based on widely accepted psychological theories. O3A offers a flexible way of integrating the affective characteristics of agents into their logic. We...
متن کاملA Framework For BDI Agent-Based Software Engineering
Agent-based software engineering has been regarded as a new notion to build complex software systems. A seamless development, from modeling to implementation of agent-based software, is the new revolution in software engineering. However, there has not been a simple and efficient means to facilitate agent-based software development. In this paper, we propose an agent-based software development ...
متن کاملKnow - How for Motivated BDI Agents ( Extended
The BDI model is well accepted as an architecture for representing and realizing rational agents. The beliefs in this model are focused on the representation of beliefs about the world and other agents and are widely independent from the agents intentions. We argue that also the representation of know-how, which captures the beliefs about actions and procedures, has to be taken into account whe...

متن کاملIntelligent Interface Agents Behavior Modeling
In this article we propose a methodology for implementing the behaviour of intelligent interface agents using a BDI (Believes, Desires, Intentions) model. This work is based on the architecture presented in (Garijo et al. 98). We aim to show that BDI schemes applied to intelligent interface agents design produce robust and intuitively designed applications. This work has been applied to a fully...
