چکیده
The semiclassical propagator cannot be directly obtained in Fock state representation, since the Fock states form a discrete basis rather than a continuous one as required by the path integral formalism. To solve this problem, we first derive a semiclassical propagator in quadrature representation and then project the result on Fock states. The quadrature eigenstates |q 〉 ≡ |q1, . . . , qL 〉 and |p 〉 ≡ |p1, . . . , pL 〉 are defined as the eigenstates of linear hermitian combinations of the creation and annihilation operators associated with the single-particle orbitals χα (α = 1, . . . , L), i.e., b ( âα + â † α ) |q 〉 = qα |q 〉 (1) −ib ( âα − â†α ) |p 〉 = pα |p 〉, (2) with an arbitrary but fixed scale b. These quadrature eigenstates obey the resolutions of unity

Coherent backscattering in Fock space: a signature of quantum many-body interference in interacting bosonic systems.
We predict a generic signature of quantum interference in many-body bosonic systems resulting in a coherent enhancement of the average return probability in Fock space. This enhancement is robust with respect to variations of external parameters even though it represents a dynamical manifestation of the delicate superposition principle in Fock space. It is a genuine quantum many-body effect tha...
متن کاملA Correlation Estimate for Quantum Many-Body Systems at Positive Temperature
We present an inequality that gives a lower bound on the expectation value of certain two-body interaction potentials in a general state on Fock space in terms of the corresponding expectation value for thermal equilibrium states of non-interacting systems and the difference in the free energy. This bound can be viewed as a rigorous version of first order perturbation theory for many-body syste...
متن کاملNoise induced interference fringes in trapped ultracold bosonic gases
We study the dynamics of ultracold atoms trapped in optical double-well potentials in presence of noise generated by an external environment. When prepared in a Fock number state, the system shows phase coherence in the averaged density profile obtained using standard absorption image techniques, that disappears in absence of noise. This effect indicates that also in many-body systems an extern...
متن کاملCoherent Control of Quantum Entropy via Quantum Interference in a Four-Level Atomic System
The time evaluation of quantum entropy in a four-level double- type atomic system is theoretically investigated. Quantum entanglement of the atom and its spontaneous emission fields is then discussed via quantum entropy. It is found that the degree of entanglement can be increased by the quantum interference induced by spontaneous emission. The phase dependence of the atom-field entanglement is...
متن کاملDiagonal Representation of Density Matrix Using q-Coherent States
A diagonal representation of the quantum mechanical density matrix by means of standard bosonic oscillator coherent states was obtained by Sudarshan [1] and Glauber [2]. A remarkable feature of this representation is that the average expectation value of normal ordered operators becomes the same as that of a classical function for a probability distribution over complex plane, thereby bringing ...
