An Architecture for Distributed Co-authoring Courses in the Internet

This paper reports a distributed architecture for supporting Internet-based distance learning coauthoring. Such architecture intends to allow cooperation among geographically distributed teachers, who will be able to create lessons together, exchanging ideas and producing a rich content for their students. This architecture has been developed aiming at promoting a distributed processing of information that have taken the authors to search for solutions through the distributed object paradigm.
