Experimenting with New Systematic and Nonsystematic Search Techniques
نویسنده
چکیده
Although dynamic backtracking usually outperforms depth rst search, its performance can be degraded by holding on to partial variable assignments. Although GSAT has diiculties with some asymmetric problems, it typically outperforms minimum connicts.

GSAT and Dynamic Backtracking
There has been substantial recent interest in two new families of search techniques. One family consists of nonsystematic methods such as GSAT; the other contoi-~ systematic approaches that use a polynomial amount of justification information to prune the search space. This paper introduces a new technique that combines these two approaches. The algorithm allows substantial freedom of movement ...

| Software requirements speciications (SRS) are often validated manually. One such process is inspection, in which several reviewers independently analyze all or part of the speciication and search for faults. These faults are then collected at a meeting of the reviewers and author(s). Usually, reviewers use Ad Hoc or Checklist methods to uncover faults. These methods force all reviewers to rel...

متن کاملRelationship of Length and Grammatical Complexity to the Systematic and Nonsystematic Speech Errors and Stuttering of Children Who Stutter
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether increased utterance length and grammatical complexity are associated with changes in frequency of systematic speech errors (i.e., phonological processes, or sound changes affecting an entire class of sounds or sound sequence [Edwards & Shriberg, 1983]), and nonsystematic speech errors (i.e., a word or string of words that apparently deviates fro...
متن کاملTurbo Codes with Non-Systematic Constituent Codes∗
Turbo codes are usually constructed using systematic recursive convolutional codes (SRCC’s) as constituent codes. In this paper, we introduce a new class of turbo codes that uses nonsystematic recursive convolutional codes (NSRCC’s) as constituent codes. A systematic constituent code then becomes a particular case of this more general class. The use of this larger class of constituent codes enh...
