چکیده
Series of finite dimensional representations of the superalgebras spl(p,q) can be formulated in terms of linear differential operators acting on a suitable space of polynomials. We sketch the general ingredients necessary to construct these representations and present examples related to spl(2,1) and spl(2,2). By revisiting the products of projectivised representations of sl(2), we are able to construct new sets of differential operators preserving some space of polynomials in two or more variables. In particular, this allows to express the representation of spl(2,1) in terms of matrix differential operators in two variables. The corresponding operators provide the ∗† Work supported by grant no KBN 2P03B07610 building blocks for the construction of quasi exactly solvable systems of two and four equations in two variables. We also present a quommutator deformation of spl(2,1) which, by construction, provides an appropriate basis for analyzing the quasi exactly solvable systems of finite difference equations.

A notion of Cartan pairs as an analogy of vector fields in the realm of noncommutative geometry has been proposed in [2]. In this paper we give an outline of the construction of a noncommutative analogy of the algebra of partial differential operators as well as its natural (Fock type) representation. We shall also define co-universal vector fields and covariant derivatives.

The first group of differentiable cohomology of Diff(S 1), vanishing on the Möbius subgroup P SL(2, R) ⊂ Diff(S 1), with coefficients in modules of linear differential operators on S 1 is calculated. We introduce three non-trivial P SL(2, R)-invariant 1-cocycles on Diff(S 1) generalizing the Schwarzian derivative.

A method of G. Wilson for generating commutative algebras of ordinary differential operators is extended to higher dimensions. Our construction, based on the theory of D-modules, leads to a new class of examples of commutative rings of partial differential operators with rational spectral varieties. As an application, we briefly discuss their link to the bispectral problem and to the theory of ...
