An architecture for Content Delivery Networks federation

The Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) federation, also named Content Distribution Internetwork (CDI) has been proposed by the CDI IETF Working Group, but currently there are not running examples. In this position paper we analyses the issues concerning this new research area and propose a possible architecture for a CDI.
