Refined analysis of RGHWs of code pairs coming from Garcia-Stichtenoth's second tower

چکیده
Asymptotically good sequences of ramp secret sharing schemes were given in [4] by using one-point algebraic geometric codes defined from asymptotically good towers of function fields. Their security is given by the relative generalized Hamming weights of the corresponding codes. In this paper we demonstrate how to obtain refined information on the RGHWs when the codimension of the codes is small. For general codimension, we give an improved estimate for the highest RGHW.

Relative generalized Hamming weights of cyclic codes
Abstract. Relative generalized Hamming weights (RGHWs) of a linear code respect to a linear subcode determine the security of the linear ramp secret sharing scheme based on the code. They can be used to express the information leakage of the secret when some keepers of shares are corrupted. Cyclic codes are an interesting type of linear codes and have wide applications in communication and stor...
متن کاملEnergy and Second Law of Thermodynamics Analysis of Shower Cooling Tower with Variation in Inlet Air Temperature
A shower cooling tower (SCT) operates without fill because of salt decomposition on the fill that leads to deterioration of conventional cooling tower performance. This study presents a two-dimensional mathematical model for energy and exergy analysis of multi-diameter droplets and air interaction along with the height of the forced draft SCT, to predict the exit condition of water droplet for ...
متن کاملA Note on an Asymptotically Good Tame Tower
The explicit construction of function fields tower with many rational points relative to the genus in the tower play a key role for the construction of asymptotically good algebraic-geometric codes. In 1997 Garcia, Stichtenoth and Thomas [6] exhibited two recursive asymptotically good Kummer towers over any non-prime field. Wulftange determined the limit of one tower in his PhD thesis [13]. In ...

This study was designed to explore the relation pattern of cultural intelligence, cultural identity, autonomy, and self-efficacy and second language achievement of Iranian EFL learners. The participants were 247 undergraduate students. Data were collected nationwide, from different parts of Iran; that is, from Kerman, south of Iran; Hamadan, west of Iran; Mashhad, east of Iran; and Gorgon, nort...
