The Curvature Invariant for a Class of Homogeneous Operators
نویسنده
چکیده
For an operator T in the class Bn(Ω), introduced by Cowen and Douglas, the simultaneous unitary equivalence class of the curvature and the covariant derivatives up to a certain order of the corresponding bundle ET determine the unitary equivalence class of the operator T . In a subsequent paper, the authors ask if the simultaneous unitary equivalence class of the curvature and these covariant derivatives are necessary to determine the unitary equivalence class of the operator T ∈ Bn(Ω). Here we show that some of the covariant derivatives are necessary. Our examples consist of homogeneous operators in Bn(D). For homogeneous operators, the simultaneous unitary equivalence class of the curvature and all its covariant derivatives at any point w in the unit disc D are determined from the simultaneous unitary equivalence class at 0. This shows that it is enough to calculate all the invariants and compare them at just one point, say 0. These calculations are then carried out in number of examples. One of our main results is that the curvature along with its covariant derivative of order (0, 1) at 0 determines the equivalence class of generic homogeneous Hermitian holomorphic vector bundles over the unit disc.

On the two-wavelet localization operators on homogeneous spaces with relatively invariant measures
In the present paper, we introduce the two-wavelet localization operator for the square integrable representation of a homogeneous space with respect to a relatively invariant measure. We show that it is a bounded linear operator. We investigate some properties of the two-wavelet localization operator and show that it is a compact operator and is contained in a...
متن کاملA Class of compact operators on homogeneous spaces
Let $varpi$ be a representation of the homogeneous space $G/H$, where $G$ be a locally compact group and $H$ be a compact subgroup of $G$. For an admissible wavelet $zeta$ for $varpi$ and $psi in L^p(G/H), 1leq p <infty$, we determine a class of bounded compact operators which are related to continuous wavelet transforms on homogeneous spaces and they are called localization operators.

متن کاملLocalization operators on homogeneous spaces
Let $G$ be a locally compact group, $H$ be a compact subgroup of $G$ and $varpi$ be a representation of the homogeneous space $G/H$ on a Hilbert space $mathcal H$. For $psi in L^p(G/H), 1leq p leqinfty$, and an admissible wavelet $zeta$ for $varpi$, we define the localization operator $L_{psi,zeta} $ on $mathcal H$ and we show that it is a bounded operator. Moreover, we prove that the localizat...
متن کاملEstimates for Derivatives of the Green Functions for the Noncoercive Differential Operators on Homogeneous Manifolds of Negative Curvature
In this paper we study the Green function for a second order noncoercive differential operator L on a connected, simply connected homogeneous manifold of negative curvature. Such a manifold is a solvable Lie group S = NA, a semi-direct product of a nilpotent Lie group N and an abelian group A = R. Moreover, for an H belonging to the Lie algebra a of A, the real parts of the eigenvalues of Adexp...
