چکیده
The first two components of this strategy require active community involvement. Community members must have access to primary health clinics where qualified health professionals with adequate tools can provide timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment. These health professionals must also ensure that mosqu i to nets a re p roper l y placed, used correctly, maintained in good repair, and brought out for re-treatment when required. Nets must also be used dur ing per iods when vector populations may appear to be so low as to make the net seem useless and their use result in uncomfortably hot nights.

Dead or alive: deformed wing virus and Varroa destructor reduce the life span of winter honeybees.
Elevated winter losses of managed honeybee colonies are a major concern, but the underlying mechanisms remain controversial. Among the suspects are the parasitic mite Varroa destructor, the microsporidian Nosema ceranae, and associated viruses. Here we hypothesize that pathogens reduce the life expectancy of winter bees, thereby constituting a proximate mechanism for colony losses. A monitoring...
متن کاملDetermination of Dynamic Instability Speed of an Unsweep Wing in Subsonic Flow Including Compressibility Effects
In this paper, the equation of motion of an elastic 2 DoF wing model has been derived using Lagranges method. The aerodynamic loads on the wing were calculated via the Strip-Theory and the effect of compressibility was included. Wing deflections due to bending and twist motions were determined using the Assume-Mode method. The aeroelastic equations were solved numerically using the V-g method. ...
