1n and 2n transfer with the Borromean nucleus 6He near the Coulomb barrier.
Angular distributions for 1n and 2n transfer are reported for the 6He+65Cu system at E_{lab}=22.6 MeV. For the first time, triple coincidences between alpha particles, neutrons, and characteristic gamma rays from the targetlike residues were used to separate the contributions arising from 1n and 2n transfer. The differential cross sections for these channels, elastic scattering, and fusion were...
متن کاملNear-barrier Fusion Induced by Stable Weakly Bound and Exotic Halo Light Nuclei
The effect of breakup is investigated for the medium weight 6Li+59Co system in the vicinity of the Coulomb barrier. The strong coupling of breakup/transfer channels to fusion is discussed within a comparison of predictions of the Continuum Discretized Coupled-Channels model which is also applied to 6He+59Co a reaction induced by the borromean halo nucleus 6He.
متن کاملCluster Model for Near-barrier Fusion Induced by Weakly Bound and Halo Nuclei
The influence on the fusion process of coupling transfer/breakup channels is investigated for the medium weight 6,7Li+59Co systems in the vicinity of the Coulomb barrier. Coupling effects are discussed within a comparison of predictions of the Continuum Discretized Coupled-Channels model. Applications to 6He+59Co induced by the borromean halo nucleus 6He are also proposed.
متن کاملProfiling Murine Tau with 0N, 1N and 2N Isoform-Specific Antibodies in Brain and Peripheral Organs Reveals Distinct Subcellular Localization, with the 1N Isoform Being Enriched in the Nucleus
In the adult murine brain, the microtubule-associated protein tau exists as three major isoforms, which have four microtubule-binding repeats (4R), with either no (0N), one (1N) or two (2N) amino-terminal inserts. The human brain expresses three additional isoforms with three microtubule-binding repeats (3R) each. However, little is known about the role of the amino-terminal inserts and how the...
متن کاملQuantum calculation of Coulomb reorientation and near-barrier fusion
We investigate the role of deformation on the fusion probability around the barrier using the Time-Dependent Hartree-Fock theory with a full Skyrme force. We obtain a distribution of fusion probabilities around the nominal barrier due to the different contributions of the various orientations of the deformed nucleus at the touching point. It is also shown that the long range Coulomb reorientati...
