Specific objectives of the research at United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) are as follows: (1) Develop methods and tools for uncertainty management in non-linear non-equilibrium models of wave phenomena in the jet engines. (2) Develop methods and tools for parameter identification and model validation techniques for nonlinear non-equilibrium models of wave phenomena in the jet engines. (3) Develop methods and tools for Design of Beneficial Wave Dynamics for jet engine life and operabilitv enhancement.
