چکیده
In section 4 of the main text we considered the formation of spin temperature in our samples. The Eexcite pro les detected at 7 K in Fig. 4a show only very little dependence on δνdetect, which could then be interpreted by introducing a very large TenZ values. This spin temperature should be equal to the nuclear Zeeman temperature, Tnz = TenZ , according to the TM-DNP description [18, 19], resulting in nuclear polarization of

The electron depolarization during dynamic nuclear polarization: measurements and simulations.
Dynamic nuclear polarization is typically explained either using microscopic systems, such as in the solid effect and cross effect mechanisms, or using the macroscopic formalism of spin temperature which assumes that the state of the electrons can be described using temperature coefficients, giving rise to the thermal mixing mechanism. The distinction between these mechanisms is typically made ...
متن کاملCorrelation of the EPR properties of perchlorotriphenylmethyl radicals and their efficiency as DNP polarizers.
Water soluble perchlorinated trityl (PTM) radicals were found to be effective 95 GHz DNP (dynamic nuclear polarization) polarizers in ex situ (dissolution) (13)C DNP (Gabellieri et al., Angew Chem., Int. Ed. 2010, 49, 3360). The degree of the nuclear polarization obtained was reported to be dependent on the position of the chlorine substituents on the trityl skeleton. In addition, on the basis ...
متن کاملTotal skin electron therapy (TSET): Monte Carlo Simulation and implementation
Introduction: Total skin electron irradiation technique is used in treatment of the mycosis fungoid. The implementation of this technique requires non-standard measurements and complex dosimetry methods. Operating procedures for total skin electron irradiation and its dosimetry vary in different radiation therapy centers in the world. In this article, validation of TSET techniq...
متن کاملGate control of dynamic nuclear polarization in GaAs quantum wells.
Gate control of dynamic nuclear polarization under optical orientation is demonstrated in a Schottky-gated n-GaAs/AlGaAs (110) quantum well by time-resolved Kerr rotation measurements. Spin relaxation of electrons due to mechanisms other than the hyperfine interaction is effectively suppressed as the donor induced background electron density is reduced from metallic to insulating regimes. Subse...
