Noise pollution and its control in textile industry

چکیده
Hi gh noise level causes psychological e ffects and physical damage, including irritability, loss o f concentration, anxiety and increased pulse rate. A one minute exposure to a sound level over IOOdBA can cause permanent hearing loss. The studies show that a large number of textil e workers, especially weavers, suffer from occupational hearing loss. The machinery manufacturers made considerable efforts in keeping the noise emission as low as possible while improvi ng the speed of thei r machines, but the measures are not adequate to protec t the textile workers from occupational hearing loss.
