چکیده
(1.1) i∂tψ(t) = Hψ(t) . For all initial conditions ψ(0) ∈ H, the unique solution is given by ψ(t) = e−itHψ(0), for all t ∈ R. Due to Stone’s Theorem e−itH is a strongly continuous one-parameter group of unitary operators on H, and the self-adjointness of H is the necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a unique continuous solution for all times. An alternative description of this dynamics is the so-called Heisenberg picture in which the time evolution is defined on the algebra of observables instead of the Hilbert space of states. The corresponding Heisenberg equation is

Lieb–robinson Bounds and the Existence of Infinite System Dynamics
We present a recent result on the existence of the dynamics in the thermodynamic limit of a class of anharmonic quantum oscillator lattices, which was obtained using Lieb– Robinson bounds.

In this paper a resonant tunnelling quantum well infrared photodetector (RT-QWIP) is discussed. Each period of this photodetector structure comprises of a resonant tunnelling structure (AlAs/AlGaAs/AlAs) nearby a quantum well (AlGaAs/GaAs). In this photodetector, photocurrent is produced when an electron makes a transition from the ground state of the well to an excited state which is coupled t...
متن کاملTime evolution of the classical and quantum mechanical versions of diffusive anharmonic oscillator: an example of Lie algebraic techniques
We present the general solutions for the classical and quantum dynamics of the anharmonic oscillator coupled to a purely diffusive environment. In both cases, these solutions are obtained by the application of the BakerCampbell-Hausdorff (BCH) formulas to expand the evolution operator in an ordered product of exponentials. Moreover, we obtain an expression for the Wigner function in the quantum...
متن کاملDynamics of entangled quantum optical system in independent media
We study the dynamics of two three-level atoms interacting with independent bosonic Lorentzian reservoirs at zero temperature. Such systems can be created in far astronomical objects. Quantum mechanical behaviour of these particles can produce detectable effects on the spectroscopic identifications of these objects, if such behaviour remain stable during the interaction with their media. It is ...
متن کاملQuantum control of dissipative systems: Exact solutions
Optimal quantum control theory, which predicts the tailored light fields that best drive a system to a desired target, is applied to the quantum dissipative dynamics of systems linearly coupled to a Gaussian bath. To calculate the material response function required for optimizing the light field, the analytical solution is derived for the two-level Brownian harmonic oscillator model and the re...
