On Kp-ii Type Equations on Cylinders

چکیده
In this article we study the generalized dispersion version of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili II equation, on T × R and T × R. We start by proving bilinear Strichartz type estimates, dependent only on the dimension of the domain but not on the dispersion. Their analogues in terms of Bourgain spaces are then used as the main tool for the proof of bilinear estimates of the nonlinear terms of the equation and consequently of local well-posedness for the Cauchy problem.

Bilinear Space-time Estimates for Linearised Kp-type Equations on the Three-dimensional Torus with Applications
A bilinear estimate in terms of Bourgain spaces associated with a linearised Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-type equation on the three-dimensional torus is shown. As a consequence, time localized linear and bilinear space time estimates for this equation are obtained. Applications to the local and global well-posedness of dispersion generalised KP-II equations are discussed. Especially it is proved tha...
متن کاملOn Dispersionless Hirota Type Equations
Various connections between 2-D gravity and KdV, dKdV, inverse scattering, etc. are established. For KP we show how to extract from the dispersionless limit of the Fay differential identity of Takasaki-Takebe the collection of differential equations for F = log(τ ) which play the role of Hirota type equations in the dispersionless theory. 1. HIROTA EQUATIONS In [7] we showed how second derivati...
متن کاملDisplacements and Stresses in Pressurized Thick FGM Cylinders with Varying Properties of Power Function Based on HSDT
Using the infinitesimal theory of elasticity and analytical formulation, displacements and stresses based on the high-order shear deformation theory (HSDT) is presented for axisymmetric thick-walled cylinders made of functionally graded materials under internal and/or external uniform pressure. The material is assumed to be isotropic heterogeneous with constant Poisson’s ratio and radially varyi...
متن کاملComment on the 3+1 dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equations
We comment on traveling wave solutions and rational solutions to the 3+1 dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) equations: (ut + 6uux + uxxx)x ± 3uyy ± 3uzz = 0. We also show that both of the 3+1 dimensional KP equations do not possess the three-soliton solution. This suggests that none of the 3+1 dimensional KP equations should be integrable, and partially explains why they do not pass the Pa...
متن کاملPravastatin transdermal patch: Effect of the formulation and length of microneedles on in- vitro percutaneous absorption studies.
Transdermal patches loaded with pravastatin was previously characterized in another published study by Serrano-Castañeda et al; 2015. These transdermal patches (TP) were generated by the plate casting technique, the in vitro percutaneous absorption studies of TP were evaluated for three different formulations of TP with different quantities of Pluronic F-127 (PF-127): i) without PF-127 (TP W), ...
