Measurements of Inter-Femtocell Reverse Link Interference

This paper presents results from a series of experiments using commercial CDMA femtocells to characterize and better understand reverse link inter-femtocell interference. Under conditions of significant RF dragging which can occur with closely spaced femtocells, reverse link interference and potential instability were observed when doing high speed data uploads. The experiments reproduced some of the effects described theoretically in the literature, but only under a very limited set of scenarios..
