Shape Calculus A spatial calculus for 3D colliding shapes

چکیده
We present a bio-inspired calculus for describing 3D shapes moving in a space. A shapeforms a 3D process when combined with a behaviour. Behaviours are specified with a timedCCS-like process algebra using a notion of channel that models naturally binding sites on thesurface of shapes. Processes can represent molecules or other mobile objects. The calculusembeds collision detection and response, binding of compatible 3D processes and splitting ofpreviously established bonds.

A Spatial Mobile Calculus for 3D Shapes
We present a bio-inspired calculus for describing 3D shapes moving in a space. A shape forms a 3D process when combined with a behaviour. Behaviours are speci ed with a timed CCS-like process algebra using a notion of channel to naturally model binding sites on the surface of shapes. The calculus embeds collision detection and response, binding of compatible 3D processes and split of composed 3D
متن کاملTowards Abstraction-Based Verification of Shape Calculus
The Shape Calculus is a bio-inspired timed and spatial calculus for describing 3D geometrical shapes moving in a space. Shapes, combined with a behaviour, form 3D processes, i.e., individual entities able to bind with other processes on compatible spatial channels and to split over previously established bonds. Due to geometrical space, timed behaviours, a wide degree of freedom in defining mot...

متن کاملSkeletons of 3D Shapes
A new method for determining skeletons of 3D shapes is described. It is a combination of the approach based on the ”grass-fire” technique and Zhu’s approach based on first finding portions of the shape where its width is approximately constant. The method specifically does not require presmoothing of the shape and is robust in the presence of noise. In an appendix, a method based on variational...
