Development Of DSP Based Magnetometer

چکیده

Magnetometer is essential for finding out orientation of any object using earth’s magnetic field. This is done by measurements of earth magnetic field along three perpendicular directions. In this design magneto resistive sensors are aligned in perpendicular directions are used for measuring the field. Sensor output voltages are digitized using ADC and send to DSP. Algorithms are implemented in ADSP to measure the angular orientation of the object. The output is sent through Asynchronous serial format. Design has been implemented and hardware is realized. Software algorithms are developed and ported to the Depth test results have indicated that design needs specification and it can be integrated in to required system Keywords—ADC, ADSP, Earth’s magnetic field, Magneto resistive sensors, Magnetometer,FPGA,UART
