Towards Real-Time Movie-Quality Rendering

چکیده

Recent advances in GPU and rendering technologies make it possible to tackle the grand challenge of real-time photorealistic rendering. This article describes two specific research approaches for computing fast photorealistic rendering on commodity platforms: precomputed radiance transfer algorithms for realistic game rendering and general purpose GPU systems for interactive film rendering.
