Web-Services Architecture: The Solution For E-Government Applications
نویسندگان
چکیده
Last few years, several projects under the Egovernment initiative have emerged; they are aiming to bring public administration such as for i.e. taxation service, closer to citizens and industrials. Today most of governments are aware that the use of information communication tools represents a powerful means to increase collaboration and cooperation between different public institutions. The aims are to provide better and more efficient services to citizens. The ambitions of governments are to facilitate and encourage development of homogenous web-platforms providing to citizens just with one single authentication, access to several public services such as taxation service, social service, health care, etc. However most of the governmental bodies are running their own information systems and connecting them together is not an obvious task. The main challenge relies on integrating efficiently all those heterogeneous public information systems by providing a unified environment. Our project intends to define an integration applications model based on service oriented architecture (SOA). The project is based on real enterprise information systems developed and maintained by a Norwegian public organisation.

E-Government Interoperability Framework based on a Real Time Architecture
One of E-Government (E-Gov) implementations is to produce a form of relationship namely Government to Government (G2G). The main factor of G2G concerning interoperability between central and local governments is the heterogeneity in developing E-Gov applications. The interoperability that has occurred are done by creating a brand new architecture that has a function to allow existing E-Gov appl...

Significant efforts are currently being pursued by several countries and IT providers to deploy SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) designs of digital government systems that integrate or implement workflows of multiple software services and data sources. Unfortunately, many existing applications that can be useful in digital government are not implemented as Web Services, a fact that complicat...

متن کاملAn ontologically principled service-oriented architecture for managing distributed e-government nodes
The need for managing distributed systems is prominent in e-government. Different applications and platforms that cover the overall range of the e-government implementation area need to interoperate in order to provide integrated governmental services to the citizens. This paper proposes an ontologically principled service-oriented architecture for the administration and integration of distribu...
متن کاملSemantic Constraint and QoS-Aware Large-Scale Web Service Composition
Service-oriented architecture facilitates the running time of interactions by using business integration on the networks. Currently, web services are considered as the best option to provide Internet services. Due to an increasing number of Web users and the complexity of users’ queries, simple and atomic services are not able to meet the needs of users; and to provide complex services, it requ...
