Integrated sensors system for human safety during cooperating with industrial robots for handing-over and assembling tasks

چکیده
Human safety is the main concern which prevents performing some tasks requiring physical interaction between human and robot. Therefore, the safety concept was previously based on eliminating contact between human and robots. This paper will propose a robot system which integrates different types of sensors to ensure human safety during the physical human robot interaction. The implemented sensors are vision, force and sensitive skin. Using vision system, the robot will be able to detect and recognize human face, loadfree human hand and any object carried by human hand (active hand). Furthermore, it will help the robot to define in which directions the force should be applied and what are the dangerous directions for human safety. The force sensor will help the robot to react to the motion of the human hand during the handingover or assembling task. The sensitive skin will prevent any collision between the human and the robot arm. The proposed system is supported with a voice system for informing human about the actual status of the system. © 2014 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Kinematics and Dynamics of two Cooperating Robots in Spatial Moving of an Object
The kinematics and dynamics of two industrial cooperating robots are presented in this paper. The NOC (natural orthogonal complement) method is used to derive the dynamical equations for the motion of two cooperating robots. The joint torques of the two robots are determined based on the optimization techniques in order to obtain unique solution for joint torques. To this end, minimizing the cr...

متن کاملNurse Robots: A Necessity in the Nursing Care System during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Dear Editor, The emergence of diseases due to drug resistance, genetic mutations, and transmission has made the future of infectious diseases complicated and vague. Currently, the prevalence of coronavirus, with high infectivity and significant lethality, has made infection control among nurses and patient one of the main goals of the World Health Organization [1]. At present, the prevention ...
متن کاملHuman Preferences in Industrial Human-Robot Interactions
Joint-action is one of the key research areas in robotics and especially important in physical human-robot interaction. The two main criteria for robots, which should be integrated in everyday life, are safety and efficiency. Therefore, it is of particular interest to understand how humans work together in order to transfer the resulting facts from these studies to direct human-robot interactio...
