Lowering orders of derivatives in non-linear residual generation using realization theory
نویسندگان
چکیده
Consistency relations are often used to design residual generators based on nonlinear process models. A main difficulty is that they generally include time differentiated versions of known signals which are difficult to estimate in a noisy environment. The main results of this paper show how to lower, or if possible avoid, the need to estimate derivatives of known signals in order to compute a residual. This is achieved by rewriting the problem into an integrability problem using state-space realization theory. An attractive feature of the approach is that general differential algebraic system descriptions can be handled in the same way as for example ordinary differential equations and also that stability of the residual generator is always guaranteed. متن کاملThe Correlation of Biological Activity and Chemical Structure of Quinolizidinyl Derivatives as Inhibitor of Alzheimer’s Disease with Linear and Non-linear Models
In this research,QSAR study has been carried out on quinolizidinyl derivatives as potent inhibitors of Acetyl and Butyrylcholin esterase in Alzheimer’s disease. Despite significant research efforts in both industry and academia, there are currently no diseases modifying therapies available to treat this illness. Significant evidence suggests that the pathology of AD is linked to generation of β...
متن کاملPreconditioned Generalized Minimal Residual Method for Solving Fractional Advection-Diffusion Equation
Introduction Fractional differential equations (FDEs) have attracted much attention and have been widely used in the fields of finance, physics, image processing, and biology, etc. It is not always possible to find an analytical solution for such equations. The approximate solution or numerical scheme may be a good approach, particularly, the schemes in numerical linear algebra for solving ...
متن کاملApplication of Graph Theory: Investigation of Relationship Between Boiling Temperatures of Olefins and Topological Indices
Abstract: In this study an appropriate computational approach was presented for estimating the boiling temperatures of 41 different types of olefins and their derivatives. Based on the guidelines of this approach, several structural indices related to the organic components were applied using graph theory. Meanwhile, in addition to evaluating the relation between the boiling temperatures of ole...
متن کاملA MIXED PARABOLIC WITH A NON-LOCAL AND GLOBAL LINEAR CONDITIONS
Krein [1] mentioned that for each PD equation we have two extreme operators, one is the minimal in which solution and its derivatives on the boundary are zero, the other one is the maximal operator in which there is no prescribed boundary conditions. They claim it is not possible to have a related boundary value problem for an arbitrarily chosen operator in between. They have only considered lo...
