چکیده

The capture of cold dark matter species, and especially primordial black holes, during the formation of gravitationally bound objects is analyzed. It is shown that the best conditions for an efficient gravitational capture were at the epoch preceding the galaxy formation, when the first astrophysical objects with masses of the order of Jeans mass 105–106 M were forming. Black hole haloes around old globular clusters, dark matter clusters and Population III stars are considered, and in each case the total mass of the halo and its luminosity due to the Hawking emission are found. Among all the objects considered, large (M >∼ 105 M ), nearby (within ∼ 5 kpc from the Sun) globular clusters are shown to provide the best prospects for detection of the black holes. First, black hole haloes around the globular clusters have the highest brightness near 100 MeV, which is within the reach of EGRET capabilities, and provide distinct observational features. Second, globular clusters are extensively studied at other wavelengths and represent a welldefined target for γ-ray detectors. We have also considered the probability of detecting an isolated black hole bound to the Sun. Our estimates of the mass of gravitationally captured haloes are applicable to any cold dark matter particles.

Advances in Black Hole Physics and Dark Matter Modelling of the Galactic Halo Primordial Black Holes and Galactic Formation

One of the most important unresolved issues of modern physics is the presence of cold dark matter (CDM). Such dark matter appears to be essential in explaining the observed galactic rotation curves and the missing Cosmological dark matter. Recent attention has focused on galactic halos as an explanation of the galactic rotation curves, and on the possibility that galactic halos may consist of m...

High-redshift supermassive black holes: accretion through cold flows

We use zoom-in techniques to re-simulate three high-redshift (z ≥ 5.5) haloes which host 109 M black holes from the ∼Gpc volume, MassiveBlack cosmological hydrodynamic simulation. We examine a number of factors potentially affecting supermassive black hole growth at high redshift in cosmological simulations. We find insignificant differences in the black hole accretion history by (i) varying th...

Gamma-ray Emission from Dark Matter Wakes of Recoiled Black Holes

A new scenario for the emission of high-energy gamma-rays from dark matter annihilation around massive black holes is presented. A black hole can leave its parent halo, by means of gravitational radiation recoil, in a merger event or in the asymmetric collapse of its progenitor star. A recoiled black hole which moves on an almost radial orbit outside the virial radius of its central halo, in th...

New Class of Dark Matter Objects and their Detection

About one-fourth of the universe is thought to consist of dark matter. Yet there is no clear understanding about the nature of these particles. Commonly discussed dark matter candidates includes the so called WIMPs or weakly interacting massive particles with masses from about ~ 10GeV to 1TeV . These particles can gravitate to form a new class of objects in dark matter halos or around the galac...

The distribution and kinematics of early high-σ peaks in present-day haloes: implications for rare objects and old stellar populations

We show that the hierarchical assembly of cold dark matter (CDM) haloes preserves the memory of the initial conditions. Using N-body cosmological simulations, we demonstrate that the present-day spatial distribution and kinematics of objects that formed within early (z ∼ > 10) protogalactic systems (old stars, satellite galaxies, globular clusters, massive black holes, etc.) depends mostly on t...
