H2/h∞ Control without Lyapunov Matrix or Frequency Weights

چکیده
The multiobjective control problem is difficult and remains mostly open. Although the Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) provide a powerful analysis technique, a trade-off must be done in the relaxation to restore LMI’s properties in control synthesis. The Youla parameterization is one of the skill to restore LMI’s properties while generating all possible compensators. In this paper, it is shown that Youla parameterization can lead to H2 optimisation without introducing additional decision variables, and allows to perform frequency shaping (such as flexible modes attenuation) without having to choose frequency weights. Abstract: This paper presents a convex optimization method for observer-based mixed H2/H∞ control design of linear systems with time-varying state, input and output delays. Delaydependent sufficient conditions for the design of a desired observer-based control are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). An observer-based controller which guarantees asymptotic stability and a mixed ...

The paper establishes the design procedure for the state feedback control of linear discrete-time systems, considerable as an interposed design criterium in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The goal is to design the feedback control which guarantees bounded H2 performance index for the system transfer function matrix and H∞ norm attenuation for the disturbance transfer function matrix, b...

In this paper, a switching strategy is employed to solve the H2/H∞ multi objective controller design. Two controllers are designed to meet the H2 and H∞ performance specifications. Linear matrix inequalities are used in the controller design process. New switching signal is defined which is the combination of dwell time switching signal and multiple Lyapunov function such that stability of clos...

Abstract This paper investigates the problem of H2/H∞ control for discrete fuzzy time delay systems based on Takaqi-Sugeno(T-S) model. The purpose is to design state feedback fuzzy controllers such that the resulting closed-loop system is not only uniformly stable but also satisfied with H2/H∞ performance index. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of the problem are obtained by utilizing ...

This paper focuses on the problem of mixedH2/H∞ output tracking control for uncertain discrete-time switched systems with state time-delay. By using single Lyapunov function theory, a state feedback controller is presented to guarantee the closed-loop error system robust asymptotically stable with mixedH2/H∞ performance is developed. The controller gains are obtained by a set of linear matrix i...
