چکیده

Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epithelidpathy ( A P M P P E ) is becoming a frequently described entity." The manifes tations of the disease, however, appear to be protean and associated with anterior and pos terior uveitis. This has led some authors 6 to suggest the choriocapillaris as the primary site of inflammation. Gass and Ryan and Maumenee, however, favor the retinal pig ment epithelium as the primary site of in volvement.
