Skyrmion model and hidden symmetries

چکیده
The SU(2) collective coordinates expansion of the Born-Infeld Skyrmion Lagrangian is performed. The classical Hamiltonian is computed from this special Lagrangian in approximative way: it is derived from the expansion of this non-polynomial Lagrangian up to secondorder variable in the collective coordinates. This second-class constrained model is quantized by Dirac Hamiltonian method and symplectic formalism. Although it is not expected to find symmetries on second-class systems, a hidden symmetry is disclosed by formulating the Born-Infeld Skyrmion model as a gauge theory. To this end we developed a new constraint conversion technique based on the symplectic formalism. Finally, a discussion on the role played by the hidden symmetry on the computation of the energy spectrum is presented. PACS number: 11.10.Ef; 11.15.Kc; 11.30.Ly.

The Role of the Dilaton in Dense Skyrmion Matter
In this note, we report on a remarkable and surprising interplay between the ω meson and the dilaton χ in the structure of a single skyrmion as well as in the phase structure of dense skyrmion matter which may have a potentially important consequence on the properties of compact stars. In our continuing effort to understand hadronic matter at high density, we have developed a unified field theo...
متن کاملChapter 1 Skyrmion Approach to finite density and temperature
We review an approach, developed over the past few years, to describe hadronic matter at finite density and temperature, whose underlying theoretical framework is the Skyrme model, an effective low energy theory rooted in large Nc QCD. In this approach matter is described by various crystal structures of skyrmions, classical topological solitons carrying baryon number, from which conventional b...
متن کاملNegative Baryon density and the Folding structure of the B=3 Skyrmion
The Skyrme model is a non-linear field theory whose solitonic solutions, once quantised, describe atomic nuclei. The classical static soliton solutions, so-called Skyrmions, have interesting symmetries and can only be calculated numerically. Mathematically, these Skyrmions can be viewed as maps between two three-manifolds and, as such, their stable singularities can only be folds, cusps and swa...
متن کاملHalf-Skyrmion Hadronic Matter at High Density
The hadronic matter described as a skyrmion matter embedded in an FCC crystal is found to turn into a half-skyrmion matter with vanishing (in the chiral limit) quark condensate and non-vanishing pion decay constant at a density n1/2S lower than or at the critical density n c at which hadronic matter changes over to a chiral symmetry restored phase with deconfined quarks. When hidden local gauge...
متن کاملSetting Hidden Symmetries Free by the Noncommutative Veronese Mapping
The note is devoted to the setting free of hidden symmetries in Verma modules over sl(2, C) by the noncommutative Veronese mappings. In many cases the behavior of systems is governed not only by their natural (geometric) symmetries but also by hidden ones. The main difficulty to work with hidden symmetries is that they are often ”packed”, and as a rule can’t be ”unpacked” to the universal envel...
