ETL, DEL, and Past Operators

چکیده
[8] merges the semantic frameworks of Dynamic Epistemic Logic DEL ([1, 3]) and Epistemic Temporal Logic ETL ([2, 6]). We consider the logic TDEL on the merged semantic framework and its extension with the labeled past-operator “P!” (“The event ! has happened before which...”). To axiomatize the extension, we introduce a method to transform a given model into a normal form in a suitable sense. These logics suggest further applications of DEL in the theory of agency, the theory of learning, etc.

Merging DEL and ETL
This paper surveys the interface between the two major logical trends that describe agents’ intelligent interaction over time: dynamic epistemic logic (DEL) and epistemic temporal logic (ETL). The initial attempt to “merge” DEL and ETL was made in [12] and followed up by [11] and [29]. The merged framework provides a systematic comparison between these two logical systems and studies new logics...
متن کاملSystematic ETL management - Experiences with high-level operators
Large organizations load much of their data into data warehouses for subsequent querying, analysis, and data mining. Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) workflows populate those data warehouses with data from various data sources by specifying and executing a set of transformations forming a directed acyclic transformation graph (DAG). Over time, hundreds of individual ETL workflows evolve as new sour...
متن کاملMETL: Managing and Integrating ETL Processes
Companies use Extract-Transform-Load (Etl) tools to save time and costs when developing and maintaining data migration tasks. Etl tools allow the definition of often complex processes to extract, transform, and load heterogeneous data into a data warehouse or to perform other data migration tasks. In larger organizations many Etl processes of different data integration and warehouse projects ac...
متن کاملMerging Frameworks for Interaction
A variety of logical frameworks have been developed to study rational agents interacting over time. This paper takes a closer look at one particular interface, between two systems that both address the dynamics of knowledge and information flow. The first is Epistemic Temporal Logic (ETL) which uses linear or branching time models with added epistemic structure induced by agents’ different capa...
متن کاملCharacterizing perfect recall using next-step temporal operators in S5 and sub-S5 Epistemic Temporal Logic
We review the notion of perfect recall in the literature on interpreted systems, game theory, and epistemic logic. In the context of Epistemic Temporal Logic (ETL), we give a (to our knowledge) novel frame condition for perfect recall, which is local and can straightforwardly be translated to a defining formula in a language that only has next-step temporal operators. This frame condition also ...
