The Osu Scheme for Congestion Avoidance in Atm Networks Using Explicit Rate Indication 1

چکیده
We propose an end-to-end rate-based congestion avoidance scheme for ABR traac on ATM networks using explicit rate indication to sources. The scheme uses a new congestion detection technique and an O(1) switch algorithm to provide high thoughput, low queues, fair operation, quick convergence and a small set of well understood parameters.
