چکیده

Recently Khasare derived an equation of state for L-J fluid by modifying an expression for work done, obtained from partition function through perturbation approach .This is achieved by inserting at some fixed position in the m-component fluid, a single solute particle of radius ‘R’ in n-dimensions along with the necessary thermodynamic requirements. It was therefore thought worthwhile to undertake a comprehensive investigation of Khasare’s is equation of state for real fluid as regards its applicability to various real fluids mixtures and capacity to predict thermodynamic behaviour in them .The theory has been applied to such binary liquid mixture systems which consists of different spatial arrangements of hard spheres solutes or solvent molecules at the same time are either polar or non-polar molecules in different environments.

Ultrasonic Velocity, Density and Viscosity of Binary Liquid Mixtures of Acetone with Toluene, Chlorobenzene and Nitrobenzene

We report the measurements of the speed of sound in the binary liquid mixtures of acetone with toluene, chlorobenzene and nitrobenzene measured at 303 K. The studies on ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity in binary liquid mixtures have been used to evaluate the different thermo acoustical parameters along with the excess properties. It was found that in all the cases, the experimental da...

VLE Predictions of Strongly Non-Ideal Binary Mixtures by Modifying Van Der Waals and Orbey-Sandler Mixing Rules

By proposing a predictive method with no adjustable parameter and by using infinite dilution activity coefficients of components in binary mixtures obtained from UNIFAC model, the binary interaction parameters (k12) in van der Waals mixing rule (vdWMR) and Orbey-Sandler mixing rule (OSMR) have been evaluated. The predicted binary interaction parameters are used in Peng-Robinson-S...
