چکیده

In many path nding problems arising in diverse areas, such as transportation science [8], web search [4], database queries [1], [28], [42] and VLSI design certain patterns of edge/vertex labels in the labeled graph being traversed are allowed/preferred, while others are disallowed. Thus, the feasibility of a path is determined by (i) its length (or cost) under well known measures on graphs such as distance, and (ii) its associated label. In such a setting, many practical problems can be equivalently cast as multi-constrained shortest/simple path problems. An illustrative example is the problem of nding a fastest path in time dependent networks that have piecewise linear link traversal functions with the additional constraint that the label of the path belongs to a user speci ed regular grammar.

A Time Dependent Pollution Routing Problem in Multi-graph

This paper considers a time dependent(the travel time is not constant throughout the day) pollution routing problem (TDPRP), which aids the decision makers in minimizing travel time, toll cost and emitted pollution cost.  In complexity of urban areas most of the time one point is accessible from another with more than one edge. In contrast to previous TDPRP models, which are designed with only ...

A Comparison of NSGA II and MOSA for Solving Multi-depots Time-dependent Vehicle Routing Problem with Heterogeneous Fleet

Time-dependent Vehicle Routing Problem is one of the most applicable but least-studied variants of routing and scheduling problems. In this paper, a novel mathematical formulation of time-dependent vehicle routing problems with heterogeneous fleet, hard time widows and multiple depots, is proposed. To deal with the traffic congestions, we also considered that the vehicles are not forced to come...

Multi-Modal Route Planning with Transfer Patterns

We examine a way to extend routing using transfer patterns – a state of the art route planning approach for fast routing in public transportation networks – to a multi-modal scenario that allows using public transport, cars, and walking. We specifically examine how to precompute transfer patterns for multi-criteria, multi-modal route planning. When done naively with a Pareto cost model, this le...

EEQR: An Energy Efficient Query-Based Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a very challenging task due to the large number of nodes, their mobility and lack of proper infrastructure. Since the sensors are battery powered devices, energy efficiency is considered as one of the main factors in designing routing protocols in WSNs. Most of energy-aware routing protocols are mere energy savers that attempt to decrease the energy...

A Multi-Objective Imperialist Competitive Algorithm for Vehicle Routing Problem in Cross-docking Networks with Time Windows

This study addresses the pickup and delivery problem for cross-docking strategy, in which shipments are allowed to be transferred from suppliers to retailers directly as well as through cross-docks. Usual models that investigate vehicle routing in cross-docking networks force all vehicles to stop at the cross-dock even if a shipment is about to a full truckload or the vehicle collects and deliv...
