Analysing Trans-Modal Interface Migration
نویسندگان
چکیده
While new solutions for supporting migratory interfaces are emerging, there is still a lack of analysis of their impact on users. In this paper we discuss the design of a solution for trans-modal migratory interfaces in multidevice and results obtained testing it with users. We conducted a study aimed at evaluating the user impact of a migration service applied to platforms supporting different interaction modalities (graphic vs. vocal) in Web environments.

Mixed-Initiative, Trans-modal Interface Migration
This paper presents our solution to supporting runtime migration of Web application interfaces among devices offering different interaction modalities, in particular graphic to vocal platform migration and vice versa. Migrating between platforms implies keeping track of the user interactions in order to retrieve the runtime state of the interface and maintaining interaction continuity on the ta...
متن کاملStudy on the strengthening mechanisms and failure modes of the ultra-fine grained tri-modal Al5083-5wt. %B4C-Al2024 and Al5083-5 wt. %B4C-Al5083 composites
In this paper, the influence of Al2024 and Al5083 aluminum alloy coarse grains on mechanical properties and fracture mechanism of Al5083-B4C tri-modal composite has been discussed. Al5083 alloy powders with 5 wt. % of boron carbide were milled for 36 hours and 25 and 50 wt. % of coarse grain (CG) Al2024 and Al5083 powders were added to the milled powders and then hot press under argon atmospher...
متن کاملA Strict-Observational Interface Theory for Analysing Service Orchestrations
Service oriented computing is an accepted architectural style for developing large, distributed software systems. A particular promise of such architectures is service orchestration, i.e. the ability to combine existing services to create more complex functionality, thereby yielding new services. In this paper, we discuss application-level protocol compliance checking of service orchestrations ...
متن کاملCounterpart Semantics for Quantified Modal Logic
In this paper we deal with the semantics for quantified modal logic, QML in short, and their philosophical relevance. In the first part we introduce Kripke semantics for the first-order modal language L= with identity, then we consider some unsatisfactory features of this account from an actualist point of view. In addition, we show that the calculus QE .K + BF on free logic, with the Barcan fo...
متن کاملBounded Parametric Model Checking for Elementary Net Systems
Bounded Model Checking (BMC) is an efficient verification method for reactive systems. BMC has been applied so far to verification of properties expressed in (timed) modal logics, but never to their parametric extensions. In this talk we show, for the first time, that BMC can be extended to PRTECTL – the parametric extension of the existential version of CTL. To this aim we define a bounded sem...
