An Optimization Technique for Subgraph Matching Strategies

چکیده

Subgraph matching (aka graph pattern matching or the subgraph isomorphism problem) is NP-complete. But in practice subgraph matching should be performed in reasonable time if possible. In this work a heuristically optimizing approach to subgraph matching on labeled graphs is described. It relies on the fact that the runtime of the matching process can vary significantly for different matching strategies. The finding of a good matching strategy is stated as an optimization problem which is solved heuristically. The cost model for the possible matching strategies takes the structure of the present host graph into account. The necessary information can be obtained by an analysis of the host graph.

A Novel Technique for Steganography Method Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm Optimization in Spatial Domain

This paper devotes itself to the study of secret message delivery using cover image and introduces a novel steganographic technique based on genetic algorithm to find a near-optimum structure for the pair-wise least-significant-bit (LSB) matching scheme. A survey of the related literatures shows that the LSB matching method developed by Mielikainen, employs a binary function to reduce the numbe...

Symbolic image matching by simulated annealing

In this paper we suggest an optimization approach to visual matching. We assume that the information available in an image may be conveniently represented symbolically in a relational graph. We concentrate on the problem of matching two such graphs. First we derive a cost function associated with graph matching and more precisely associated with relational subgraph isomorphism and with maximum ...

A Weighted Common Subgraph Matching Algorithm

We propose a weighted common subgraph (WCS) matching algorithm to find the most similar subgraphs in two labeled weighted graphs. WCS matching, as a natural generalization of the equal-sized graph matching or subgraph matching, finds wide applications in many computer vision and machine learning tasks. In this paper, the WCS matching is first formulated as a combinatorial optimization problem o...

Fractured Reservoirs History Matching based on Proxy Model and Intelligent Optimization Algorithms

In this paper, a new robust approach based on Least Square Support Vector Machine (LSSVM) as a proxy model is used for an automatic fractured reservoir history matching. The proxy model is made to model the history match objective function (mismatch values) based on the history data of the field. This model is then used to minimize the objective function through Particle Swarm Optimization (...

On the inverse maximum perfect matching problem under the bottleneck-type Hamming distance

Given an undirected network G(V,A,c) and a perfect matching M of G, the inverse maximum perfect matching problem consists of modifying minimally the elements of c so that M becomes a maximum perfect matching with respect to the modified vector. In this article, we consider the inverse problem when the modifications are measured by the weighted bottleneck-type Hamming distance. We propose an alg...
