Special Section on Recent Progress in Electromagnetic Theory and Its Application

The IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) Transactions on Electronics announces a forthcoming special section on Recent Progress in Electromagnetic Theory and Its Application to be published in January 2018. The purpose of this special section is to present a collection of original papers that give an overview of recent progress of research and development in electromagnetic theory and its applications, including those related to the papers presented at the 2016 Symposium on Electromagnetic Theory, held in Wakayama, Japan on November 17-19, 2016. It also shares the scope with the international symposia and meetings: 2016 AP-S and URSI, PIERS 2016, ICEAA 2016, and ISAP2016. Presentations in these symposia and meetings are also considered to be part of this special section and submission is highly encouraged.
