A traceability project for digital manufacturing management

This paper presents a LabVIEW application for real time data acquisition for all components of a production system, respecting traceability requirements for a modern digital manufacturing environment. The paper focus on a supply chain which has several sub processes and then we focus on the limitations and problems and introduce a traceability system by combination of horizontal and vertical traceability systems. The main contribution is the implementation of the operator interface. The advantages of the implemented traceability procedures underlined by the developed application are finally presented. .
