Abstract:

Abstract B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B-LBL) is an uncommon subtype of pediatric non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) which rarely involves the skin primarily. The positron emission tomography with 2-deoxy-2-[fluorine- 18] fluoro-D: -glucose integrated with computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) scan findings of a 8-year-old boy with cutaneous B-LBL were presented. PET/CT scan demonstrated mild FDG uptake in the lesion located on the scalp and also multiple bone metastases with increased FDG uptakes in several areas. The importance of 18F-FDG PET/CT scan in primary staging of the patients with primary cutaneous B-LBL. due to its impact on planning of therapy via the determination of unexpected malign infiltration sites was emphasized.

Cutaneous lymphoblastic lymphoma with pre-B markers.

Two children with cutaneous convoluted lymphoblastic lymphoma are reported. Malignant cells from both patients contained cytoplasmic Mu heavy chains characteristic of pre-B-cells and expressed CALLA and la antigens as well. Most cases of convoluted lymphoblastic lymphoma are T-cell-derived neoplasms. The non-T, non-B phenotype found in these two children demonstrates that histology does not nec...

Primary cutaneous precursor B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma with late dissemination.

A 20-year-old woman presented with multiple painless nodular swellings on the skin of the extremities and face, without any systemic symptoms. Biopsy with immunohistochemistry revealed a diagnosis of precursor B-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. There was no extracutaneous site of involvement. The patient denied chemotherapy and was subsequently lost to follow-up. She presented with symptomatic diss...

652 in dust and air, and this increased exposure can lead to a sensitization against this metal, even in very low doses, with risk of allergic reaction, especially in susceptible individuals. Several authors have described reactions both to nickel and palladium ions,[1-3] which has led to the thinking that the reaction is not dependent on the element itself but rather on the formation of comple...

Peritoneal Super Scan on 18F-FDG PET/CT in two patients with Lymphoma

Peritoneal lymphomatosis is an extremely rare presentation of lymphoma. Due to its relative low frequency, it receives much less attention than peritoneal carcinomatosis. The challenge is to differentiate between lymphomatosis and carcinomatosis, as well as peritoneal tuberculosis or other pathologic entities within the peritoneal cavity based essentially on radiologic features. 18</...
