چکیده مقاله:
به طور کلی پژوهشگران در برنامه‌ریزی جهت مراحل پیشگیری از اعتیاد تا پیشگیری از عود، بر تبیین‌های زیست‌شناختی و ژنتیکی، روان‌شناختی و جامعه‌شناختی متمرکز هستند و عوامل مستعدکننده‌ی گرایش به مواد نظیر نابسامانی‌های خانواده، شبکه‌ی اجتماعی و دوستان نامناسب، مدرسه و محل زندگی نامطلوب و... را در کنار عوامل زیستی و ویژگی‌های فردی مورد توجه قرار می‌دهند.
