چکیده

A generalized thermo-elastic diffusion problem in a functionally graded isotropic, unbounded, rotating elastic medium due to a periodically varying heat source in the context of fractional order theory is considered in our present work. The governing equations of the theory for a functionally graded material with GNIII model are established. Analytical solution of the problem is derived in Laplace-Fourier transform domain. Finally, numerical inversions are used to show the effect of rotation, non-homogeneity and fractional parameter on stresses, displacement, chemical potential, mass distribution, temperature, etc. and those are illustrated graphically.

In this paper, a semi-analytical solution for magneto-thermo-elastic problem in an axisymmetric functionally graded (FG) hollow rotating disk with constant thickness placed in uniform magnetic and thermal fields with heat convection from disk’s surfaces is presented. Solution for stresses and perturbation of magnetic field vector in a thin FG rotating disk is determined using infinitesimal theo...

Thermo elastic analysis of a functionally graded cylinder under mechanical and thermal loads is investigated analytically in the present paper. The first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) is employed for analysis of the problem. FSDT recognizes two components for definition of the deformation. Displacement of the mid-plane and rotation about that are two components of deformation. The modul...

Present paper is devoted to stress and deformation analyses of heated variable thickness functionally graded (FG) circular plate with clamped supported, embedded on a gradient elastic foundation and subjected to non-uniform transverse load. The plate is coupled by an elastic medium which is simulated as a Winkler- Pasternak foundation with gradient coefficients in the radial and circumferential...

In this research, analysis of nonlocal magneto-electro-thermo-elastic of a functionally graded nanobeamdue to magneto-electro-elastic loads has been done. In order to formulate the problem the Timoshenko theory of beams is utilized. The principle of virtual work, Hamilton’s principle as well as nonlocal magneto-electro-thermo-elastic relations has been recruited to derive the governing eq...

In this article, the thermo-elastic behavior of a functionally graded simple blade subjected to the mechanical and thermal loadings is presented, applying a semi-analytical method and a variable thickness cantilever beam model. A specific temperature gradient is employed between the root and the edges of the beam. It is assumed that the mechanical and thermal properties are longitudinal directi...
