چکیده مقاله:

Cardiovascular diseases are a major cause of death worldwide.  Endothelial dysfunction, inflammatory conditions, and oxidative stress at the forefront of the onset and progression of most cardiovascular diseases specificaly coronary heart disease and heart failure. Melatonin is a type of indole neuroendocrine hormone.  It was first found that the regulation of the sleep-wake cycle is regulated by melatonin function.  Further research has shown that melatonin has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.  It has also been shown to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism.  It also has other biological effects including anti-apoptotic effects, mitochondrial enhancement, stimulation of target cells to secrete cytokines and anti-aging.  Most importantly, recent research has shown the role of melatonin in various cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, myocardial infarction, ischemia, atherosclerosis, and pneumonia.  it shows. Melatonin affects various factors of cardiovascular function.  Evidence suggests that melatonin rhythm has a vital effect on cardiovascular pathophysiological processes, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antihypertensive, and possibly anti-lipid effects.   Over the past decades, the protective potential of melatonin for cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and heart attack has become increasingly apparent.  Albumin is a circulating protein that has different functions. Albumin concentration is related to several factors.  Its synthesis rate, catabolism rate, extravascular distribution and exogenous loss.  In addition, nutritional status and systemic inflammation affect serum albumin synthesis.  Estimation of albumin concentration helps to predict risk in different clinical conditions.  Serum albumin has many physiological properties: for example, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant and anti-platelet aggregation.  It also plays an important role in the exchange of fluids between the capillary membranes.  Understanding the prognostic value of serum albumin in all spectrums of cardiovascular disease is of great interest.  What is the effect of melatonin on a variety of cardiovascular diseases?  By what mechanism does melatonin affect the cardiovascular system?  What are the basic properties of albumin and what physiological functions associated with albumin contribute to its effect on cardiovascular disease?  Is prevention and correction of low serum albumin levels beneficial for people who have cardiovascular disease or are at risk?

Interaction of Phthalocyanine with Egg albumin and Bovine serum albumin

The interaction of bovine serum albumin ( BSA) and egg albumin with water solublephthalocyanine, cobalt (ΙΙ) 4, 4′ , 4′′, 4′′′- tetrasulfophthalocyanine ( CoTSPc) , has been studiedby the UV- Vis method at pH 7.0 and five different temperatures 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40°C. Theformation constants have been elucidated by using spectrophotometric titration and computerSQUAD program data refinement. Th...

Electrocardiographic abnormalities and their association with some serum biomarkers in lambs with foot and mouth disease

Little attention has been paid to the aspects of cardiac injury-related foot and mouth disease (FMD) in young animals. So, this research was conducted to evaluate the serum biomarkers and electrocardiographic (ECG) evidence of myocardial injury in the infected lambs with FMD. During an outbreak, 33 lambs with FMD and 11 healthy lambs were randomly enrolled. After blood sampling, ECGs were taken...

Association of Body mass index and serum ferritin level in pediatrics with Beta-thalassemia major disease

Background: Beta-thalassemia major is a type of inherited blood disease that results in variable outcomes such as severe anemia due to haemoglobin chains. Recurrent and lifelong blood transfusions as a treatment in beta-thalassemia major disease lead to iron deposition in various organs and cause the failure of multiple organs. Failure of affected organs leads to Body mass index (BMI) abnormali...

Association of Dietary Fat Pattern and Incidence of Cardiovascular Disease, Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease: Tehran Lipid and Glucose Study

Introduction: Cardiovascular disease (CVD), hypertension (HTN) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) are chronic conditions of recent decades, and dietary intakes play an important role in their prevention. The purpose of this study was to examine the association between dietary fat pattern and incidence of these conditions. Materials and Methods: Participants of the third phase (2006-2008) of the T...

Association between urinary albumin excretion and serum dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate concentration in male patients with type 2 diabetes: a possible link between urinary albumin excretion and cardiovascular disease.

OBJECTIVE Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of mortality and morbidity in patients with type 2 diabetes. Both elevated urinary albumin excretion and low serum concentrations of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) are associated with increased CVD mortality. This raises the possibility of DHEA as a causal intermediate linking urinary albumin excretion to CVD. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METH...
