چکیده مقاله:

  بافت مغز کودک در مقایسه با بزرگسالان، نرم تر، نازک تر و دارای قابلیت انعطاف پذیری بیشتر می باشد. وجود همین قابلیت انعطاف است که به هنگام وارد آمدن ضربه به سر سبب انتشار نیروی وارده می شود. ولی از آنجا که بافت مغزی کودکان بسیار ضعیف است به سهولت آسیب می بیند.
