Les auteurs rapportent chez deux nourrissons, l'etude anatomo-clinique d'un cas de kystes alveolaires multiples,et d'un cas d'emphyseme lobaire congenital bilateral.Le troisieme cas concerne un kyste bronchog6nique du poumon gauche,decouvert a l'autopsie d'un nouveau-ne. Dans le quatrieme cas,un emphyseme geant du lobe superieur gauche,decouvert dans un contexte infectieux,a l'age de neuf mois, demeurait asymptomatique a l'age de 3 ans 1/2.

Over the past four years (1360-1364) we have surgically treated seven infants for lobar emphysema. The pathologic lesion in all patients was in upper lobe of the left lung. Respiratory distress and pneumonia are the cardinal symptoms of patients with this abnormality. Diagnosis is confirmed by chest x-ray. The treatment of choice is lobectomy of affected lobe.
