چکیده مقاله:

Telephone or social media follow-up is important for patients who are referred to home quarantine after receiving a positive corona test. The outbreak of Covid-19 has caused concern among the general population around the world. Many people may be anxious and scared, and those who are directly affected by the virus in different ways may experience more panic, fear, and anxiety. All those who are exposed to a traumatic crisis are affected to some degree. In our initial research, which was related to another study and the initial psychological interventions in coronary patients among patients who were in the first ten days of their disease, we came across results that may be useful to future researchers. Answer the question of which group of patients with COVID-19 need more psychological interventions. In this study, individuals were randomly selected from among patients with COVID-19 who were diagnosed with an infectious disease specialist and were in the second week of the disease and referred to Ziaian Hospital. Assessment and evaluation tools in this study were the initial assessment form of mental status based on the DSM5 model and DASS21 questionnaire, which was evaluated by the patient. This questionnaire measures anxiety, stress, and depression and proves its validity and reliability in various studies. it arrives. The study population consisted of 61 patients with COVID-19 disease, of which 23 were in the hospital and 38 were in-home quarantine according to the order of a specialist. Evidence showed that patients in acute stress and sick quarantine are 7.7%. If no acute stress was observed in hospitalized patients. Severe anxiety scores were reported to be 8.2% among home quarantine patients, which was also reported as zero percent among hospitalized patients. It should be noted that hospitalized patients had anxiety on both the anxiety and stress scales, but these two factors were reported at a mild level. However, in quarantine, one quarantine patient was reported to be severely depressed, but none of the hospitalized patients were severely depressed. The main reason for this decision was the fear of illness and the prevention of infecting their family and others. However, hospitalized patients reported better mental health due to the fact that they were constantly monitored by the medical staff and received a variety of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. The results of this study showed that patients with COVID-19 who are in quarantine reported more stress, acute anxiety, and severe depression than hospitalized patients due to separation from the medical staff and avoidance of continuous medical interventions. These factors can lead to panic attacks in patients and have unpleasant results. As in this study, 2 cases of quarantined individuals reported suicide decision. Based on this, it can be concluded that follow-up treatment by telephone or social networks for patients who are referred to home quarantine after receiving a positive COVID-19 test Is necessary.
