Spondylolisthesis - a Rare Case

Spondylolisthesis has always fascinated orthopaedist and others concerned with the treatment of low back disease. Spondylo means Vertebra and Olisthesis to slip or slide down a slippery path.In this orticle.the history of spondylolisthesis has been described,followed by the recent classification of different types of the condi­tion.There are Sdifferent types of spondylolisthesis­dysplastic,Isthmic,Degenerative,Traumatic and Patholo­gical.The conservative therapy of the asymptomatic patients have been described whichinclude correction  of poor posture,avoiding of certain spine movements,bed rest strong analgesics and then gradual mobilization.  If symptom persist after conservative treatment or if further olisthesis is occurring,then surgical inter­vention should be considered.Solid fusion can be obtained and will stop further slip.  In the second part of this article a very rare of spondy­lolisthesis has been described. This is a case of a 36-years old male patient with the history of 3. years low back pain He as no neurological sign,But his X-rays revealed a spondylolisthesis in 3 levels including 1 -L4,L4-, L5-s Which is very un c6mmon and unusual.There 31s not many 1report in the literature so far regarding spondylolisthesis in 3 levels.
