The effect of high intensity interval training on the expression of Caspase 3 and 9 horseshoe protein genes in male rats

Background and Purpose: Apoptosis is a protective cellular process that plays an important role in the development and homeostasis of normal tissue as well as disease-causing factors.. The purpose of this study was The effect of high intensity interval training on the expression of Caspase 3 and 9 horseshoe protein genes in male rats. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study 28 male rats were randomly divided into three groups of high intensity interval training, basic control and control. The exercise group was exposed to high intensity interval training for 12 weeks. Exercise in the high-intensity group consisted of 10 4-minute activities with an intensity of 85-90% VO2max, at which time the control group had no exercise program. Relative expression of caspase 3 and 9 proteins was obtained by real-time PCR. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey's post hoc test. Results: One-way analysis of variance to compare the expression of caspase 3 and 9 horseshoe protein in male rats in the three groups of high-intensity intermittent exercise, control and control of diabetic basal showed a significant difference between the three means of the group (p = 0.001). The results of post hoc test showed a significant decrease in insulin and glucose in medium and high intensity training group compared to control group (p = 0.001).
